gwalior trade fair was started in 1905 by maharaja madhav rao scindia .the king of gwalior.the fair is held at the mela ground also known as pragati maidan in the race courese roas of gwalior .started as a cattle fair this trade fair now emareged as the biggest fair in madhya pradesh.the gwalior trade fair is the largeest trade fair in india .gwalior trade fair consists of large number of showroomo of sevral national and international brand such as audi bmw samsung and lgwith food zones.covering acers 104 acres . major attraction of the fair include the haasya kavi sammelan and the kavaali dangals .
